Lynford's
Testimony:Lynford grew up
in Kansas and lived on a farm. He attended church every Sunday where his
Sunday School teachers shared the gospel with him. He trusted Christ
as Savior at the age of 10. Four years later at a Good News Camp,
God dealt with him about dedicating his life for service wherever God lead. After Bible college and seminary God led
him and Sharon into missions. They planted churches in Indiana for 15 years and now
have served 13 years in Ecuador.
Lynford's theme verse is Job 23:10. God continues to provide trials
for the refining process He desires to do in each life.
Sharon's Testimony:
Sharon began her Christian walk
at the age of 7. Her VBS teacher talked with her about her
salvation and she trusted Christ for her salvation. Her childhood
was difficult with the death of her mother and two brothers.
However, God used this in her life to prepare her for the ministry He had
for her in the future. God knows what is best for us even though we
do not understand. She met Lynford in her first year of Bible
college. They were married three years later and have enjoyed 34
years of marriage, 30 of which have been spent serving the Lord in church
planting ministries. Sharon thrives in the ministry for children in any church
where they have served. This all happened as a result of their
united decision in 1974 to serve the Lord wherever He chose. God
tested this decision with the task of learning the Spanish language at 40
years of age. God's grace has been sufficient for every trial.
There is no greater joy than to serve the Lord together!
