PRAYER CHANGES LEADERSHIP

February 25, 2009

Three more weeks of winter, we can see the end.  We have enjoyed the warm fellowship during these cold days of winter in the Midwest.  Thank God for the four seasons.  God’s promise is still true; the seasons declare God’s faithfulness to his creation.  The seasons of life confirm the wonderful grace of God in each of our lives.

This list of men and women includes those who believe God has called them into full time ministry.  Pray for them to be a part of 20/10 for 2010.

  1. Rafael Molineros is an evangelist who is now ministering faithfully.  Our prayer is that he would become involved in starting another new church.
  2. Jorge Aldana is a graduate of the Bible institute and is helping in his home church’s youth ministry.  We’re praying he will leave his home church for a new church ministry.
  3. Wilson Andrango is ready to graduate from the institute.  He would like to get married and then be involved in a new church plant.  (Not necessarily in that order!)
  4. Julio Chulango and his family have believed that God would have them leave their church to start a new work.  They are inexperienced therefore pray that they will be alongside of another couple in this endeavor.
  5. Luís Vargas and Irene are already involved in the church plant in Quito.  They are studying the Word in the Bible institute AND working in the church.
  6. Fernando Bassler and his wife, Maria, are both involved heavily in evangelism.  God has a wonderful plan for this couple.  They desire to become better qualified for ministry.  God is using them in the work already.
  7. Franklin and Bethany Vinueza live in South Carolina.  They plan to go back to Quito to start the children’s ministry to street children as they are involved in the new church.  Pray for them as they will become missionaries to Ecuador with our mission.
  8. Carlos Monta will finish his studies soon and then will seek God’s will for his ministry.  He is not a starter and so must work with another church planter for his ministry.
  9. Pedro Coro has just begun his Bible training, but has help start a new church near his home.
  10. Milton Cárdenas and Zulema are called of God to minister to people.  She is a medical doctor and he has graduated from the Bible institute.  So their God-given abilities and gifts will harmonize nicely as they meet the physical and spiritual needs of the Ecuadorian.
  11. Diana Macías is a very talented children’s teacher.  She will assist the pastor of the new church plant nicely with her gift.
  12. Patricia Aldana is finishing her Bible education in May.  We are praying that God will guide her to become a part of a church planting team in Ecuador.
  13. Gloria Aguirre has already confirmed God’s call to become involved in a new church plant.  She is right now raising her support team in Ecuador among the Berean churches.  Pray that this will be quickly finish so she can be working in the place God has called her.
  14. Segundo and Hortencia have been working in a church plant in Puembo.  Should the Lord call them to begin a new one they will turn over this church to a pastor and will be available to start the next one.  A huge step of faith is necessary.
  15. Héctor and Carmen are helping in the church in Quito.  Our desire is that this couple will be available to be a helper in another church plant.
  16. Darwin Punquil is a young man with lots of energy.  He loves to preach, sing and play guitar.  He will be a great asset with a team of workers in a new church plant.

PRAISE the Lord for these men and women who are called into God’s harvest field.

PRAY that God will protect them from spiritual lethargy and giving them an excitement to serve Him.

PRAY that during 2010 four teams will be formed to start four new churches in Ecuador.

PRAY for 20/10 for 2010; 20 missionaries starting 10 new churches, going out two by two.

Thank you for your prayers.

Because God calls servants into ministry,
